Anders als herkömmliche runde Kratzbretter setzt dieses Modell auf eine 51cm lange ovale Form und bietet damit deutlich mehr Platz in der Breite. Wenn Ihre Katze im Stehen die Krallen ausfährt und schärft, finden Vorder- und Hinterpfoten vollständig auf der Kratzfläche Platz. So kann sie sich beim Kratzen genüsslich strecken, ganz wie es ihrer Natur entspricht, und das lästige "Danebengreifen" bei kleinen Kratzbrettern hat ein Ende.
Die besonders große Liegefläche von 51cm × 37cm in verlängerter und verbreiterter Rennbahnform bietet auch großen Katzen (etwa Maine Coon, Ragdoll oder Britisch Kurzhaar) genug Raum, um sich vollständig auszustrecken. Ob seitlich hingestreckt mit rundem Bauch, zur Kugel eingerollt im Tiefschlaf oder mit allen vieren nach oben – der Platz reicht mehr als aus, und in Mehrkatzenhaushalten können sogar zwei Katzen nebeneinander ruhen.
